Dr. Sumit Kumar, a final year resident in Institute of Opthalmology, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh has won the prestigious Dr. Luthra Gold medal for presenting paper in the Uttarakhand Opthalmology Conference held at Haridwar.
Another PG student of the Institute, Dr. Anubha Mittal, figured among the three finalists for the gold medal.
Prof. R R Sukul and Dr. Abdul Waris represented the Opthalmology Department in the conference. The conference was attended by eminent Opthalmologist from all over the country.
